Watsonia Pre-School is a non-for-profit organization managed by an elected Executive Committee made up of parent/carer volunteers. For the Pre-school to operate a General Committee consisting of ten people is also required.
Roles of the Executive Committee include President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. The Committees meet once a month.
Parents and Carer’s can contribute to the kindergarten in other ways including with the following:
- Fundraising and Social
- Grants and Submissions
- Policies and Procedures
All parents and carer’s of children at the kindergarten are encouraged to nominate to join the Executive or General committees.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Watsonia Pre-School is held in November of each year.
